about eling tsai registered dietitian
registered dietitian eling tsai

Early in my career at a diabetes clinic, I noticed a common story among my patients:

I feel out-of-control and anxious around food”

How I eat is a rollercoaster depending on my body image”

“I had difficult childhood experiences around food”

I’m constantly too hungry or too full”

No matter what medical goals my patients had, I saw that a common barrier to lasting change was a complicated relationship with food and their body.

I pursued further training in the transformative principles of Intuitive Eating, Health at Every Size (HAES), mindfulness, and body image healing. I also developed a specialty in identifying and treating the symptoms of disordered eating. These evidence-based approaches have had a profound impact on how I operate as a dietitian and proven to be powerful tools for my clients. I am proud to provide lead tangible improvements to my client’s physical and mental well-being.

My primary passion is working with people with disordered eating, eating disorders, diabetes, or those looking to promote positive family feeding dynamics. I also offer group education and speaking services, writing services, and program management to spread the message of positive nutrition far and wide.

I believe in building authentic connections that go beyond traditional nutrition guidance, as each person's journey with food is unique and deeply influenced by their experiences, emotions, and cultural background. Through our work together, my goal is to support you on your journey to a positive, peaceful, and healthful place.
